Ecological:

Open and moist areas in forests, thickets, wet grasslands, meadows, marshes; 250-3500 m.

Uses: 

Treatment of tuberculosis, cough, hemorrhage, amygdalitis, pharyngitis; skinny body, nervous breakdown; fire burns (whole tree).
