The native range of this species is Tropical & Subtropical Old World. It is a scrambling perennial and grows primarily in the seasonally dry tropical biome.

Uses: 

Treat malaria, diuretic, edema, abdominal pain in women who have just given birth (Than).

Distribution: 

Cao Bang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ngai. The plant grows naturally along roadsides, forest edges, and fields in dry and bright places.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

January - December
