The native range of this species is Nepal to China and N. Indo-China. It is a perennial and grows primarily in the temperate biome.

Treat hepatitis, dysentery, cough with phlegm, children with convulsions (whole plant).

Distribution: 

Lao Cai (Sa Pa). The plant grows naturally scattered along streams, along trails, at an altitude of 1500 - 1800m.

May - June; July - December
