The native range of this species is Indian Subcontinent to W. Malesia. It is a liana and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uses:
Treats injuries caused by falls, swelling, hematoma, burns, rheumatism (whole plant). Also treats fever (pounded leaves applied to the forehead and palms.
Distribution:
Hoa Binh, Lao Cai, Hoa Binh, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Dong Nai. The plant grows naturally.
Flowering and fruiting season:
July - August; September - November
