The native range of this species is SE. Kenya to Mozambique and W. Pacific. It is a tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uses: 

Diarrhea, dysentery (Fruit decoction). Rheumatism (Roots). Constipation (Leaf).

Distribution: 

The tree grows naturally in mangrove forests, and is also quite commonly planted along the coast from North to South Vietnam.

May-July, June-August
