In Thailand, the branches are used to treat flatulence, help increase appetite and prevent stomach cramps; along with other plants used to treat asthma. A decoction of the bark and wood is used to treat weak kidney function
Distribution:
Quang Tri (Lao Bao), Ninh Thuan (Ca Na), Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Bien Hoa. The tree grows naturally in primary or secondary forests.
