The native range of this species is Indo-China to W. Malesia. It is a shrub or tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Distribution: 

Quang Binh, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The tree grows naturally along forests, wastelands, and arid places.
