The native range of this species is SE. Tibet to W. Pacific. It is a tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uses:
Leaves, inflorescences, and fruits are also used to eat as plants. The stem is also used to treat rheumatism and body aches, such as the vine.
Distribution:
Quang Nam, Dak Lak, Lam, Dong, Khanh Hoa. The tree grows naturally in clusters under the canopy of primary or secondary evergreen broad-leaved forests at altitudes of about 200-1000 m.
