The native range of this species is Nepal to S. China and W. & Central Malesia. It is a hemiparasitic epiphyte and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uses:
Cough (Decoction of leaves and tea leaves for drinking). In the middle, apply it to treat ulcers.
Distribution:
Son La, Hanoi, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, to Ba Ria Vung Tau, Kien Giang. Semi-parasitic shrub, often on the branches of white canarium or mulberry trees.
