The native range of this species is Indo-China to Peninsula Malaysia, Vietnam. It is a tree and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uses: 

Used for weaning (bark, leaves).

Distribution: 

Ha Tinh (Huong Khe), Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan (Phan Rang). The tree grows naturally in secondary forests, after harvesting, at altitudes below 800 m.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

April-November
