The native range of this species is Assam to Hainan and Indo-China. It is a pseudobulbous epiphyte and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Uses: 

Treatment of heat illness, damage to the new epidemic, dry mouth and thirst, heat damage after healing.

Distribution: 

Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong. The tree grows naturally, clinging to large trees in the forest, at an altitude of 1,200-1,500 m.
