The native range of this species is India (Haryana) to Himalaya and Taiwan. It is a perennial and grows primarily in the subtropical biome.

Family: 

Lamiaceae

Uses: 

Treatment of pneumonia, bronchitis, hepatitis, cholecystitis, pain and swelling (whole tree). Also treat high blood pressure.

Distribution: 

Lao Cai, Son La, Ha Giang, Lang Son. The tree grows naturally in bright and humid places, mountainside, wasteland, roadside, at an altitude of 700-1,600m.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

January-March
