The native range of this species is Arunachal Pradesh to China (Guangdong) and Indo-China. It is a shrub and grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Cơm nguội nhỏ, Cây dang dang, Lục chột, cơm nguội ẩm.

Latin name: 

Ardisia humilis Vahl

Family:

Uses: 

Blood tonic, rheumatism treatment (whole tree).

Distribution: 

Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Khanh Hoa, Kon Tum, Lam Dong. The tree grows naturally scattered in mixed forest, hillside, at altitudes up to 1000 m.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

February-May; June-August
