The native range of this species is Jawa. It grows primarily in the wet tropical biome.

Vietnamese name: 

Hàm xì, Niễng cái, Đậu ma, Tập kheo (Thái), Cai ván, Đá man (Bana), Krìng (Kho), Kều ngản sống

Latin name: 

Flemingia macrophylla (Willd.) Prain – Crotalaria macrophylla Willd.

Family: 

Fabaceae

Uses: 

Treatment of low back pain, bone pain, back pain (root decoction or drinking alcohol). Swelling, sores (leaves pounded).

Distribution:

In Vietnam: Lang Son, Cao Bang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Gia Lai. The tree grows naturally along rivers, streams, groves, scrublands, in open forests.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

May – December
