Description:
Growing epiphyte with clustered, branching, fusiform to ovoid-oblong, 4 ribbed, somewhat flattened pseudobulbs carrying a single, terminal, thickened, leathery, rigid, oval to oblong, obtuse, notched leaves on a short to 5 cm long, arching to pendant, simultaneously 1 to 5 flowered racemes that arise from near the apex of the leafed psudobulb and carrying short-lived, wide open, honey scented flowers.
Distribution:
Assam, China South-Central, East Himalaya, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam (Sơn La, Lai Châu, Tây Nguyên).
Ecological:
Open forests on tree trunks; 700-1300 m.
