The native range of this species is Indo-China to Peninsula Malaysia, E. Jawa to Lesser Sunda Islands (Bali). It is a shrub or tree and grows primarly in the wet tropical biome(s).

In Vietnam: Vinh Phuc (Tam Dao), Hoa Binh, Thua Thien Hue.

March-September
