Uses:
Treatment of dysentery, diarrhea, abdominal pain, malaria, bone pain and menstrual regulation (Body bark). The fruit cures boils on the soles of the feet. Roots as antipyretic.
Distribution:
In Vietnam: Son La (Song Ma, Mai Son), Hoa Binh (Mai Chau), Quang Ngai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Dong Nai. The tree grows naturally scattered in secondary forests, along forest edges, at altitudes up to 900 m.
