its native range is Tropical & Subtropical Asia to W. Pacific.

Giáng hương, Giao bát, Mắt chim

Latin name: 

Pterocarpus indicus Willd.

Family: 

Fabaceae

Uses: 

Cure poisoning, stomach pain, intestines, boils (bark). Resin cures chronic diarrhea, hemorrhage, gonorrhea, rheumatism and malaria.

Distribution:

In Vietnam: Phu Tho, Thua Thien Hue, Khanh Hoa, Da Nang. The tree grows naturally in the evergreen jungle.

Flowering and fruiting season: 

February-April; June-December
