its native range is Central Himalaya to W. & S. Malesia.

Vietnamese name: 

Đơn tướng quân, Gioi ba lá, Râu chiếc, Trâm chụm ba

Latin name: 

Syzygium formosum (Wall.) Masam. 

Family: 

Myrtaceae.

Uses: 

Antiseptic, boils, rashes, acute and chronic pharyngitis, cystitis (decoction of leaves).

Distribution:

In Vietnam: Phu Tho (Doan Hung: Chan Mong), Hai Duong (Chi Linh), Thai Nguyen (Dai Tu), Hanoi (Ba Vi). Trees that grow naturally along rivers, streams, and forests are restored and planted.

Fruit season: 

April-August
