its native range is Tropical & Subtropical Asia to N. Australia.

Latin name: 

Brucea javanica (L.) Merr.

Family: 

Simaroubaceae

Uses: 

Seeds treat amoebic dysentery, malaria, hemorrhoids, whipworms and roundworms. Used externally to treat warts and calluses.

Distribution: 

The tree grows naturally scatteredly in horn forests, limestone foothills, coastal areas, quite common in Vietnam.

January-May

Fruit season: 

June-December
