The stem and leaves of the plant are used to treat malaria, rheumatism, cough, and nephritis. Bark cures mouth sores.
Distribution:
In Vietnam: Lang Son, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa, Kon Tum. The tree grows naturally along moist forests in soil and limestone mountains.
