Description.
Terrestrial herb 25—55 cm ball with short ovoid-conical clustering pseudobulbs and numerous thick fasciculate roots. Leaves 3—4, sub-sessile, elliptic, acute, 11—25 by 2—6 cm. Inflorescence stalk erect, leafless, terminal, few- to many-flowered, pubescent, 9—35 cm tall, with few distant bracts. Floral bracts broadly-cuneate, acute, pubescent, 0.9—2 by 0.3—0.6 cm. Flowers widely opening, sweetly fragrant, white, 1—2 cm across. Pedicel and ovary pubescent, 0.6—1 cm long. Sepals and petals sub-similar, elliptic-ovate, obtuse, 0.7—1 by 0.4—0.5 cm, petals slightly shorter. Lip spurred, 3-lobed, 0.8—1 by 0.6—0.8 cm, with semicircular warty callus in front of the spur. Side- lobes large, oblong, slightly falcate with obtuse divergent apices; mid-lobe obovate, divided into 2 large obovate, obtuse lobes, separated by a deep triangular sinus. Spur slender, cylindric, recurved, 7—9 mm long. Column 2—3 mm tall.

Notes.
This rare species is insufficiently known in Vietnam. It needs fresh well-preserved material to confirm this record in Cuc Phuong National Park.
