its native range is Hainan to Tropical Asia and SW. Pacific, N. Australia.

Latin name: 

Sonneratia caseolaris (L.) Engl. syn: Rhizophora caseolaris L.

Uses: 

Hemostasis (Leaves and crushed fruit for external use). Wounds due to being crushed (Leaves). In Malaysia, the leaves are pounded with rice and used to cure urinary retention.

Distribution:

In Vietnam: The tree grows naturally in mangrove forests along the coast of our country.


Fruit season: Flowers and fruits all year round
