its native range is Mexico to N. South America, Caribbean, E. Brazil. It is has environmental uses and social uses, as a poison and a medicine and for food.
Vietnamese name:
Cà dại hoa trắng, Cà Hoang, Cà dữ, Cà gai Hoa trắng, Mác rịa.
Uses:
Roots and fruits cure cracked feet, between toes, toothache, low back pain, stomachache, menstrual cramps, insect stings. Also heals fall injuries.
Distribution:
The tree grows naturally on wastelands, roadsides, and forests, quite common in Vietnam.
