Vietnamese name:

Me rừng, Chùm ruột núi, Mận rừng, Cam lam, Trám rừng, Chùm ruột rừng, Me quả tròn, Mắc kham.

Uses: 

The fruit cures leg water, swollen pharynx, colds, fever, diabetes. Bark to treat snake bites.

Distribution:

In Vietnam: Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Dak Lak, Lam Dong. Terrestrial tree, growing naturally in shrublands under deciduous forests, bare hills, on sandstone soils at an altitude of 100-500 m.
