its native range is India to Indo-China.

Vietnamese  name:

Tu hú đông; Tu hú gai; Tu hú biển.

Distribution: 

In Vietnam, the tree grows naturally scattered in open forests and planted as hedges in many places.

Uses: 

Cure urinary retention, kidney edema, gonorrhea, bed-wetting (Drink root). Abdominal pain, joint pain, asthma, chronic cough (Fruit). Fever, thirst (Fresh leaves). Honey (dried leaves).
