Uses:
The bark heals wounds. In India, the dried bark and leaves are powdered and used as a smoke to treat swelling of the tongue and amygdala.
Distribution:
Light-loving tree, growing naturally in fields, lowland scrub to deciduous forests at altitudes up to 1000 m, throughout the Central and Southern regions to Phu Quoc island of Vietnam.
