its native range is Tropical Africa, W. Arabian Peninsula, Tropical & Subtropical Asia.

Vietnamese name:

Mảnh bát, Hoa bát.

Uses: 

Treat boils, scabies (both pounded and covered). Deworming (Seeds).

The plant is often grown for its leaves as a vegetable.

Distribution: 

In Vietnam: Lao Cai, Ha Giang, Son La, Hoa Binh.
