Roots are used as tonic, diuretic, expectorant, persistent cough, hemoptysis, constipation.
Distribution:
In Vietnam: Da Nang, Quang Nam, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan. Plants that grow naturally along hills, roadsides, and scrublands; still planted.
