its native range is Africa, Tropical & Subtropical Asia to N. Australia, Vietnam.
Vietnamese name:
Cỏ phống, Xà bông.
Uses:
Cure snake bites (whole trees).
Distribution:
The tree grows naturally in swampy plains, quite common in Vietnam.
