its native range is Central Himalaya to China (Yunnan) and N. Sumatera.

English Name:

The Sickle-Like Leaf Oberonia.

Description: 

With a flexuose stem enveloped completely by imbricating leaf-bearing sheaths carrying 5 to 6, linear-ensiform, falcate leaves that blooms in the summer and early fall on an erect, subverticillate, terete, 4 to 16 cm long, densely many flowered inflorescence with lanceolate, acute, hyaline, erose floral bracts.

Distribution:

Assam, China South-Central, East Himalaya, Laos, Malaya, Nepal, Sumatera, Thailand, Tibet, Vietnam (Mộc Châu, Sơn La, Kon Plong, Kontum, Phú Quốc).

Ecological:

In tropical valleys at elevations of 1300 to 1800 m as a mini-miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte.

Flowering times:

Blooms in the summer and early fall.

Flower size:

1.0 mm.
