Description:
It has a long zigzag stem carrying imbricate, distichous, equitant, semitriangular, obtuse or acute leaves with an axillary, pendant, to 3.5 cm long, several flowered inflorescence arising from the upper leaf axils occuring at any time of the year that has cordate-semi-orbicular, apiculate, amplexicaul, glaucous bracts and needs more shade and water while growing but always keep damp.
Distribution:
Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico Southeast, Mexico Southwest, Panamá.
Ecological:
As a caespitose, medium sized, cool to hot growing epiphyte from dense jungles up to 2600 m in elevation.
Flowering times:
Blooms at any time of the year.
Flower size:
2.5 mm.
