Description:
With an erect stem carrying 4, basal, obliquely oblong-ovate, abruptly narrowing below into the 3/4" long petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late winter and spring on a many flowered, glandular pubescent, brown, 20 cm long, racemose inflorescence.
Distribution:
Jawa, Malaya, Nicobar Is., Sumatera.

In humus rich soils often with bamboos in forests at elevations around 400 to 1600 m as a medium sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial.
