Description:
With erect, lower 1/3 with whitish bracts, leafy canes carrying leathery, ovate, acute leaves that blooms on last years, leafy cane, erect, straight, to 20 cm long overall, rachis to 6 cm long, laxly to 6 flowered inflorescence with the flowers held in a loose circular arrangement.
Distribution:
Sulawesi.
Ecological:
As a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte.
Flowering times:
Blooms on last years.
Flower size:
2.2 cm.
Cultivation:
Plants generally require a reduction of watering or with holding of water during the winter due to dormancy period. Plants grow in a variety of temperature ranges and lighting ranges which is dependent on the species. Plants can usually be mounted.
