Family: 

Orchidaceae Juss.

Synonym:

Aporum reflexitepalum (J.J.Sm.) Rauschert

English Name:

The Reflexed Petal Dendrobium.

Description: 

With erect in youth becoming pendulous with age stems which are leafy below and leafless above, and carrying ovate, acute, imbricate leaves that blooms in the fall, winter and early spring on young stems from the apice and on older plants from along the leafless apical portion with single flowered, short inflorescence.

Distribution:

Borneo, Jawa, Malaya, Sumatera. 

Ecological:

At elevations of 200 to 1000 m as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte.

Flowering times:

Blooms in the fall, winter and early spring.

Flower size:

5.0 mm.

Cultivation:

Plants generally require a reduction of watering or with holding of water during the winter due to dormancy period. Plants grow in a variety of temperature ranges and lighting ranges which is dependent on the species. Plants can usually be mounted.
