Description:
With curved, unbranched, leafy stems carrying, many, lanceolate, imbricating, spreading leaves that blooms on a very short inflorescence with a single, tiny, fan-shaped flower arising from the bases of the numerous imbricate leaves occuring in the summer to winter.
Distribution:
Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, Jawa, Laos, Malaya, Maluku, Myanmar, Philippines, Sumatera, Thailand, Vietnam (Đắk Lắk, Kon Tum, Tây Ninh, Phú Quốc).
Ecological:
In semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 400 to 1600 m.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the summer to winter.
Flower size:
8.0 mm.
Cultivation:
Plants are warm growers. Place plants in partial shade and pot with medium bark or sphagnum moss. Water regularly in the summer and keep cool in the winter. Water should be reduce but occasionally mist potting media to prevent pseudobulbs from shriveling.
