Description:
With pendant stems that narrows towards the base carrying many, bright green, lanceolate leaves that blooms on an axillary, 1.25 cm long, few (2 to 3) flowered inflorescence arising laterally on leafless canes with bright orange flowers in the fall.
Distribution:
Malaya, Thailand.
Ecological:
As a lowland, small to large sized, hot growing epiphyte.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the fall.
Flower size:
5.0 cm.
Cultivation:
Plant grows in warm to hot temperatures with medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. During winter reduce watering until new shoots appear. Grow in a well drain mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark.
