Description:
With stout, short, erect pseudobulbs carrying 3 to 4, shortly petiolate, oblong-lanceolate, acute, bicolor leaves and blooms in the spring and summer on a 25 cm long, many flowered, densely cylyndrical inflorescence with narrow, linear-setaceous bracts and carrying successively opening, inverted (non-resupinate) flowers.
Distribution:
Bangladesh, Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, East Himalaya, Hainan, Malaya, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam (Tây Nguyên, Phú Quốc).
Ecological:
In hill forests at elevations around 300 to 1100 m as a small sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial.
