Cultivation:
Plants are cool to warm growing depending on the species. Grow in full shade. Plants require a well drain terrestrial mix which usually is comprised of gravel, bark, sand, pumice, and perlite. Mixture should be kept moist but not wet. Tubers should be planted several centimeters below the surface of the mix. Plant require dormancy during winter and must be kept in a cold area for vernalization. During dormancy watering must be reduce but plant must sprinkled with water to prevent it from drying out. Plant requires high humidity.
