Description:
With 1.5 to 3 cm between each subglobose pseudobulb enveloped basally by fibrous sheaths and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, linear-oblong, obtuse, obliquely emarginate, sessile to shortly petiolate base leaf and blooms in the spring through summer on an erect, basal, to 20 cm long, slender, bracteate, 5 to 12 flowered inflorescence that exceeds the heigth of the leaves and has an apical umbel of flowers.
Distribution:
Assam, Bangladesh, East Himalaya, Nepal.
Ecological:
In tropical valleys at elevations around 300 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphytic species.

Blooms in the spring through summer.
