Description:
With close set, ovoid, decurved, slightly rugose pseudobulbs carrying a single, ellipic, acute, conduplicate below into the petiolate base leaf and blooms in the fall on a basal, 6.25 cm long, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
Distribution:
Assam, China South-Central, East Himalaya, India, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam (Sin Ho, Hà Giang), West Himalaya.
Ecological:
In forests at elevations of 1300 to 3300 m as a small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte or lithophyte.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the fall.
Flower size:
3.7 cm.
Cultivation:
Plants usually grow in in intermediate to warm temperatures. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering.
