Description:
With rambling and branching stems that are freely rooting, 1/2" leaves that lay flat, 2 ranked along the evergreen stems, short spikes can emerge at most any time of the year all along the stems in clusters of bright yellow 1/2" flowers spotted with bright red, the pouch-shaped lip is white with red spotting. A very attractive plant and the flowers are fragrant.
Distribution:
China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, Taiwan.
Ecological:
On tree trunks in forests; 500-2500 m as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the summer.
Flower size:
1.3 cm.
