The Bird's Head Dryadella.
Description:
With erectramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 thin, loose, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thicklyu coriaceous, purple suffused beneath, elliptical-obovate, subacute, narrowly cuneate belowintothe subpetiolate base leaf that blooms on a congested, successively few flowered, 1 to 2 mm long inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul and with imbricating, thin floral bracts and a sheath below.
Distribution:
Brazil Northeast, Brazil South, Brazil Southeast, Paraguay.
Ecological:
At elevations of 310 to 1500 m as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte.

Blooms in the summer.
