Description:
With slender, ridged, rounded, club-shaped, yellowish apically stems carrying 5 to 7, persistent, smooth, flexible, dark green leaves that blooms in the spring on a pendant, 30 cm long, densly several to many (30 to 50) fragrant flowered raceme that arise from near the apex of the cane.
Distribution:
Assam, China South-Central, East Himalaya, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam (Quảng Trị, Thừa Thiên - Huế, Tây Nguyên, Lâm Đồng).
Ecological:
At elevations of 1200 to 2000 m as a small to large sized, cool growing, epiphytic, lithophytic or terrestrial speciesfound in humid, mossy mixed and coniferous forests.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the spring.
Flower size:
5.0 cm.
Cultivation:
Plant grows in cool to warm temperatures with medium amounts of light. Keep plant moist and fertilize during growth season. During winter reduce watering until new shoots appear. Grow in a well drain mix of sphagnum moss or medium fir bark.
