Description:
With ovoid to ovoid-conical pseudobulbs and carrying 3 to 5, coriaceous, recurved, narrowly elliptic to oblong-lanceolate leaves with a short petiole that blooms in the spring to mid-summer on an erect, slender, 12 to 23 cm long, basal, 3 to 6 flowered inflorescence that is longer than the leavves and has lanceolate floral bracts that are shorter than the ovaries and fragrant (honey) flowers.
Distribution:
Assam, China South-Central, Myanmar, Thailand, Tibet.
Ecological:
As a miniature sized, cool to cold growing lithophyte on rocks at elevations of 1000 to 2700 m.
Flowering times:
Bloome in the spring to mid-summer.

10.0 mm
Cultivation:
I grow it in a terrestrial mix. Summers are warm with lots of water and somewhat shaded. Winters are cool to cold with a significantly drier schedule. They do need occasional watering during the winter, but if you water too much during the late winter the forming spikes will damp off.
