its native range is Sikkim to China (W. Yunnan).

The Hidden Coelogyne (refers to it's small size and short inflorescence).

Chinese name:

Luan Ye Bei Mu Lan - 卵叶贝母兰

Description: 

With obliquely attached, oblanceolate, clavate, acute apex, narrowing towards the base, green, glossy, slightly grooved pseudobulbs carrying 2, elliptic, acute, plicate, 3 to 5 nerved, gradually narrowing below into the grooved, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a slender, erect, 4 cm long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence arising on a newly emerging pseudobulb with persistent floral bracts and carrying simultaneously opening flowers.

Distribution:

Assam, China South-Central, East Himalaya, Myanmar, Tibet.

Ecological:

At elevations of 1830 to 3500 m on moss covered trees in upper montane forests as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte or lithophyte.

Flowering times:

Blooms in the late spring and early summer.

Flower size:

2.5 cm.
