Description:
With close set, pear-shaped, erect to ascending pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, leathery, oblong, gradually narrowing below into the rigid petiolate base leaf which blooms in the spring on a basal, ascending, 10 cm long, successively opening, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with color variable, stinky flowers, growing best in hot to warm temperatures, partial shade and growing in pots.

At elevations around 500 m as a small sized, unifoliate epiphyte.

8.0 cm.
Cultivation:
Keep plant in warm temperatures. Keep moist in summer seasons and do not allow mix to dry, in winter keep the mix slight dry and reduce watering. Keep good air movement to avoid fungal growth. Keep plants in shade. Pot plants in sphagnum moss, fine bark, or mounted.
