Description:
With an ascending growth habit and pseudobulbs that are 2.5 cm apart on the rhizome and blooms in the late winter and spring as well as late summer and fall on a to to 14 cm long, stout inflorescence with triangular bracts and carrying a solitary flower held well above the leaves.
Distribution:
New Guinea.
Ecological:
As a small sized, unifoliate, hot growing epiphyte at elevations of 50 to 400 m in rainforests, farmland margins and river valleys on tree branches.

Blooms in the late winter and spring as well as late summer and fall.
