Description:
It is a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphytic species with a pendant, slender, fractiflex, branching stem with 2 ranked, oblong-lanceolate, leathery leaves that blooms on an axillary, sessile, 2 flowered inflorescence with the long-lived, waxy flowers held on the stem occuring in the spring.
Distribution:
Borneo, Philippines, Taiwan.
Ecological:
Epiphytic on tree trunks in forests at low elevations.
Flowering times:
Blooms in the spring.
Flower size:
7 mm.
Cultivation:
Plant grows in moderate shade and warm temperatures. Pot plants in medium fir bark or sphagnum moss. Plants can also be mounted. Water when the potting media is just approaching dryness, but still a bit moist and never allow the potting media to become bone dry.
