Description:
With an elongate stem carrying many oblong-ligulate, unequally rounded apically leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a horizontal or ascending, 12 cm long, simple, slightly fractiflex inflorescence with small, triangular-ovate, subacute floral bracts carrying 2 to 8, long-lived, pleasingly fragrant flowers that open in succession.

Borneo, Cambodia, Laos, Malaya, Philippines, Sumatera, Thailand, Vietnam (Kon Tum, Lâm Đồng, Binh Phước, Bù Gia Mập).
Ecological:
A large sized, scrambling, hot to warm growing epiphyte in evergreen, semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands at elevations of sealevel to 800 m.
